Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: Hanoi - Lang Son - Holu Eye Mountain (330km)
- 07h30: Our tour guide will pick you up by car at the hotel.
- 10h00: Short break and visit Chi Lang Pass which played an important role in fighting against various Chinese invasions.
- 11h30: Visit Dong Dang market & Mother God temple near Chinese border. Have lunch in the town.
- 14h00: Stop for short break in Dong Khe and visit the tank we took over from French; learn more about the greatest history in fighting against French Colony and American Empire. 
- 16h00: Visit Holy Mountain and stay in incense-making village of Nung people.

DAY 2: Ban Doc Waterfall - Ba Be Lake (220km)
- 08h00: After breakfast, continue the trip to Ban Doc Waterfall, enjoy the rural life of local people such as H’Mong, Tay and Nung people. 
- 11h00: Visit Tiger Cave and Ban Doc Waterfall which is considered as 1 of 4 biggest waterfall between 2 nations. 
- 13h00: After the lunch, return Cao Bang city and visit Ban Viet Lake and incense village of Nung people.
- 18h00: Arrive Ba Be National Park. Stay in Ba Be Lake View homestay with the best view to the lake.

DAY 3: Ba Be Lake - Hanoi (230km)
- 07h30: Have breakfast and enjoy the quite atmosphere here. 
- 09h00: Have boat trip around the lake to Wisdow Islet, An Ma temple and Fairy Pond. 
- 11h30: Come back to the harbour then have lunch in Ba Be town. 
- 17h00: Return to Hanoi. The tour ends.

Day 1: Hanoi - Lang Son city - Quang Yen village
Discover the wide lakes and chalky karsts of Ba Be National Park to the wild and rocky landscapes of Cao Bang Geopark, where you will see the magnificent Ban Gioc waterfall, on a 3-day trip. Journey through isolated districts of Northern Vietnam near the Chinese border.
 
Stay with local families of Tay and Nung ethnic minorities. Learn about and experience rural Vietnam's unique cultures and customs.
 
Start your trip to Cao Bang on day 1 with a hotel pickup. Stop in Lang Son to see Chi Lang Gate, a relic of Vietnam that links to the thousand-year fight of the Vietnamese people against Chinese invasion. Continue to Dong Dang, to see Mother's Temple before heading to Dong Khe, where the Battle of Dong Khe took place.
 
After lunch, continue on to Cao Bang along steep roads with breathtaking scenery. Arrive at an incense-making village for your homestay. At the end of the day, explore the village on your own. Stay at a local homestay in Quang Uyen or a local hotel.
Day 2: Ban Gioc Waterfall - Nguom Ngao Cave - Ba Be Lake
See the world's fourth-largest border waterfall located between Vietnam and mainland China. On the route, stop in Phuoc Sen Village. This is the home of the Nung tribal inhabitants, where you may discover the time-consuming procedure of their traditional knife-making expertise.
 
Visit Nguom Ngao, commonly known as Tiger Cave, which has many magnificent stalagmites and stalactites. Explore the cave for an hour, then proceed to Ban Gioc Falls. Take a boat trip after you get to the waterfall to see its unique beauty. It is now time for you to relax and enjoy your experience.
Day 3: Cao Bang - Ba Be National Park - Hanoi
Leave Cao Bang and travel to Ba Be National Park. Arrive late in the day at your Tay homestay. Wake up early to enjoy the fresh air and breakfast before embarking on a 3-hour boat ride around the lake. During the boat ride, walk through Cam Village, which was founded on the banks of the Nang River.
 
Follow the river to Puong Cave, a unique tube cave with a diverse range of limestone stalactites and stalagmites as well as millions of strange bats. Arrive at Buoc Lom Wharf, bid farewell to Ba Be, and return to Hanoi.
