Private Ha Giang amazing trip 5 days with your own Verhicle, professional driver, tour guide will bring you pass through the awesome landscapes of Ha Giang and the wonder Dong Van Plateau beside colorful of Dong Van Market. The centre communities of H’mong people. The trip to remote Ha Giang area will take you the quintessential view of mountains’ view for both Vietnam and China.
Tour departure in the Morning day time on the first day. Back Hanoi or other destination such as: Sapa, Ninh Binh, Halong or Hanoi in the day time
Tour itinerary:
Hanoi, Ha Giang, Dong Van, Meo Vac, Quan Ba, Hanoi
Day 1: Hanoi - Ha Giang (2-5 km hike):
In the morning we depart Hanoi at 8.00am and our first stop is at the tiny village in Thung Uyen, home to Dao and H’mong people.
From here we take a relaxing hike through tiny villages. This offers us ample opportunities to meet the locals going about their way of life.
As the day progresses, we drive to various hiking trails surrounded by rolling hills and peaceful villages.
Around sunset, we arrive in Ha Giang. Here, we have some free time to capture the tranquil pace of life before we settle in with a local Tay family. Tonight we enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by our host.
After dessert we retire to our homestay for the night in a traditional wooden stilt house. (Lunch and dinner are included).
Day 2: Ha Giang - Dong Van (7-9 km hike)
This morning we hike around the villages and through scenic rice terraces. During our hike we take time to meet the local people at work, as they tend their seasonal crops and plough their paddies behind buffaloes.
Next, we journey to Dong Van. En route, we see the Vuong Palace – the house of Vuong Chi Sinh, king of the Hmong people. Its architectural design is unique to Dong Van.
Arriving in the town of Dong Van, a beautiful little town, we take a stroll around a local market and nearby villages. Tonight we stay overnight in a hotel. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included).
Day 3: Dong Van - Meo Vac (15-20 km hike):
This morning we hike through remote and beautiful countryside of Dong Van where we wind our way through the spectacular landscape and pass through several H’Mong ethnic villages and see the life of the local people growing terraced rice or tending their seasonal crops.
Afternoon finds us in the pass of Ma Pi Leng. Here we take a hike along beautiful mountains. We are rewarded with a brilliant backdrop of picturesque valleys covered in rice paddies.
Late in this afternoon we arrive in Meo Vac for the night in a hotel. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included).
Day 4: Meo Vac - Quan Ba (7-9 km hike):
After breakfast we set off to hike through the peaceful villages of Hmong people, between terraced farmland and along spectacular mountains.
Afternoon finds us driving due south to Quan Ba then on to the village of Nam Dam, home to a Dao ethnic community.
Tonight we settle in with a local Dao family for the night in a traditional house. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included).
Day 5: Quan Ba - Hanoi (6-8 km hike):
This morning we take a hike into a nearby villages and into the
mountains then onto Quan Ba Heaven Gate. The gate is the narrow slot between two peaks that are lowered and extended enough for the road to pass.
Beautiful hiking trails and villagers greet us at Quan Ba. The terrain features verdant and small hillocks, seasonal farmlands, beautiful valleys and is home to Dao ethnic people.
During our hike we take time to meet the locals going about the daily life. This is followed by our return journey to Hanoi, arriving there at around 6pm. (Breakfast and lunch are included).

Physical activities:
We need to be reasonably fit as the walks and the hikes can be challenging sometimes, depending on the weather conditions.
From July to September, the climate is usually humid and hot. From October to June brings cooler and more pleasant weather.
Meals: We choose local ingredients, typical of the way people eat in the area, from local restaurants, markets or homes. We also cater for Vegetarians but please request this at time of booking.
What to take:
Pack essentials for 5 days, including light comfortable clothes suitable for outdoor activities, comfortable hiking shoes.
Take a small day pack for hiking and trekking.
It is essential to bring your passport on this trip.
We also recommend packing: towel, personal articles, insect repellent, sun cream, raincoat and sun hat...
