WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE TO SAY…

We take customers’ feedback very seriously and we enjoy reading post-trip emails. The compliments are what drive us forward and the complain helps us perfect our services. This is what our guests have been telling us about their trip booked on our website. Read the reviews and check the gallery – you will know better about us than anything else.

Wonderful experience!

From the moment we were collected in Hanoi it was plain sailing. The trip down in the mini bus was good and then from the moment the staff take care of you at Halong Bay you are looked after. Quan was our guide and dealt with all queries. He was fabulous and made the trip such fun.
Cabins are lovely, we were in a twinned bedded room with a full size bathroom. The style is 1930’s glamour which I loved.
The food is excellent, the only problem being is that there is too much. After lunch the trip to the cave is nice and enables you to burn off a few calories. The steps are steep so I would not advise anyone with mobility issues to attempt it. The chance to swim in the sea is great but be prepared for how cold the water is.

On the second day we went on the optional trip to the floating village, very peaceful and relaxing for us if not for the lady rowing.
Staff were great, attentive and professional.
I would thoroughly recommend this experience, the one thing that would have helped me was a hairdryer in the room.

Magnificent One-Day trip to Ha Long Bay

If you only have one spare day and do not want to stay overnight in Ha Long Bay on a boat, this is the ideal trip to get a flavour of the awesome sights of the Bay.

Be prepared for a long journey. Pick up by bus starts at 8am and it is a 4 hour drive to Ha Long through the North Vietnamese countryside. The guide on board is very knowledgeable, speaks excellent English and is good fun. We stopped at a craft centre on the way for a break. The crafts were all excellent and there was no pressure to buy.

We arrived at Ha Long Bay and boarded our boat ready for lunch. We had an eclectic array of dishes, something for everyone. However, the scenery was so amazing we were desperate to photograph the incredible islands in the bay, 3000 of them.

We went into an amazing cave lit in different colours, then proceeded to a little floating island where we had a choice between a bamboo boat or 2-people Kajaks for an half-hour exploration. If you take the Kajak be prepared to get wet legs.

Overall a great experience worth the long journey. Don’t forget to take your passport or at least a copy for the Ha Long Bay ticket (included in the price).

Highly recommended trip! Great value!

Just back from the highly enjoyable day trip to Halong Bay with our guide Ha. Ha spoke probably the best English I have encountered during my time travelling throughout Vietnam. He was knowledgable, funny and attentive from start to finish and even knew all of our names/countries we were from and some small chat in people’s own languages which was a nice touch.

The bus journey was long but the stop off points for use of the bathroom/food/drinks were clean and had lots of options!
The trip itself was excellent value for money. Vegetarian options were provided for my friend and I and there was no shortage of food. The cave walk was very good, and the kayaking was brilliant! Just enough time to take in the scenery!
Overall, well managed and well run tour with very friendly and professional tour guide Ha! Highly recommended!
